Health & Safety accreditation Accreditation renewal

demolition services

Hardcore Crushing Ltd have recently renewed our SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) Health & Safety accreditation, which have had assessed through the UK’s award winning and leading accreditation scheme for contractors, CHAS (Contractor’s Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) and we are proud to announce that we have not only renewed our accreditation, but we have upgraded it to ‘Advanced’ level, which includes PAS91 categories and so on top of the Health & Safety assessment we are also assessed in respect of our capabilities in the disciplines of Environmental, Quality, Equality and Financial.

CHAS is one of the organisations that originally developed the Safety Schemes in Procurement standard, which has become the UK’s Common Assessment Standard, and the core criteria of the approved Code of Practice, which supports the ‘Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015’.

And since then CHAS has become one of the most widely nationally recognised accreditation schemes in the UK.

This year we have also upgraded our membership to include ‘Principal Contractor’ status.

Principal contractors have an important role in managing health and safety risks during the demolition works on site, so we as a professional organisation must have the skills, knowledge, experience and organisational capability to carry out this type of work, and by having our policies and systems assessed by CHAS it helps to show clients that we have the necessary Health, Safety and Quality skills required to safely deliver any demolition project.
