We received a 'repeat business call' from a valued client who had suffered an arson attack at one of his properties on Millingford Industrial Estate, Golborne. He needed a badly fire-damaged property making safe and demolishing — urgently.
We quickly attended site, took over the reins, and immediately contacted key stakeholders — local Building Control, the Fire and Emergency services, and the utility companies — to get the correct permits and permissions in place and confirm the structures were clear to dismantle.
Within a very short time of receiving the call, we had a 40-tonne demolition excavator on site — with specialist attachments and a skilled operator — and set about demolishing the dangerous fire-damaged structure safely and efficiently.
The building formed part of Millingford Industrial Estate, originally known as Parkside Mill in the late 1800s. The fire damage had left the structure in an extremely dangerous condition, requiring careful assessment before any demolition work could safely begin. Our team managed this professionally, working within the constraints set by Building Control throughout.
The fire-damaged structure was safely demolished and the site cleared — making the area safe for the client, his neighbours and the public. From call to completion, another clean emergency response from Hardcore Crushing.
